All about MOTHERHOOD and what MOTHERS cares for
Your Hub for Motherhood Wisdom and Connection!
Hey there, wonderful souls! I’m so glad to have you here in my little online corner, where we dive deep into the heart of motherhood.
I’m Hana Haile, a happy wife and stay-at-home mom currently living in North Texas. I started this journey right at the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020 in a new country.
As I navigated the ups and downs of new motherhood while adapting to a new home, I realized the incredible power of coming together and sharing experiences.
From that tiny seed of wanting to find other mamas to connect with, the idea for እናትHood | EnatHood was born.
What began as my personal search for a group of like-minded mothers has blossomed into a lively space where mamas from all walks of life come together to share, learn, and grow.
The name EnatHood is derived from two words. “Enat” means mother in Amharic, one of the many languages spoken in Ethiopia, where I was born and raised.
EnatHood site also features the Amharic language to include our community readers.
Then, it is combined with the English word “Hood” to roughly represent MOTHERHOOD using the two languages we use on this platform.
Today, I’m a mama of three adorable kiddos, a boy and two girls. My passion for natural and healthy living fuels my journey.
I genuinely believe that living in tune with nature brings balance to our lives – a belief that comes from my Ethiopian roots.
Growing up, I was surrounded by the simple yet meaningful philosophy of my grandparents, who hailed from Ethiopia. This philosophy guides me as I balance the hustle of today’s world with the calm wisdom of the past.
Here at እናትHood | EnatHood, we’re all about learning and empowerment. Our pages contain helpful articles about motherhood – from pregnancy to baby care.
We’re here to support you, provide guidance, and offer a virtual hand to help you navigate the beautiful messiness of motherhood.
But that’s not all! I’ve also started the እናትHood | EnatHood podcast – a new adventure that lets me share my motherhood journey and talk about everything close to a mother’s heart.
Most importantly, it’s a space for moms worldwide to share their stories – the highs and lows.
So, whether you’re sipping your morning tea, rocking your little one to sleep, or just taking a quiet moment for yourself, remember that እናትHood | EnatHood is here to remind you that you’re never alone.
This space is a haven where we celebrate the little wins and stand together through the tough times. Together, we create a tapestry of wisdom, love, and friendship.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Get ready, Mama – we’re about to embark on a beautiful adventure!
With Love,
Hana Haile
