As the new year is here, I find myself reflecting on the journey that motherhood has taken me on. With the arrival of my fourth baby this past June, life has been an exhilarating ride filled with joy and discovery. Today, I’m excited to announce my return to writing, sharing stories about motherhood, healthy living, and spiritual growth here on my blog and podcast.
Welcoming a new baby always involves a season of adjustment. Every time I give birth, I find myself stepping into a new role, whether as a first-time mother, a second-time mom, or now, a fourth-time mother. It’s a continuous cycle of learning and growth. Even though I’ve experienced this journey multiple times, each child brings a unique challenge and a fresh perspective on family dynamics. My husband and I love children, and despite the surprises life throws our way, we remain open to welcoming more little ones in the future!
Our family has transformed dramatically since we said “I do” seven years ago. Navigating life with four children is surreal, but knowing that each of their lives is part of a beautiful divine plan fills us with happiness. It has been heartwarming to see our older kids embrace their little brother with open arms, creating a lovely bond among siblings.
As I adjust to postpartum life again, I’ve encountered new experiences, such as battling a UTI for the first time. Thankfully, we received extra help from my mom during this period, allowing me to rest and rediscover time for myself. It was during these precious weeks of recovery that I indulged in documentaries about the Amish and various communities across the U.S. One particular true story about the Amish touched my heart deeply—I must warn you, I cried! Perhaps my postpartum hormones played a role, but it was a beautiful experience nonetheless.
This year has been remarkable for me in terms of spiritual growth. I’ve developed a profound awareness of my relationship with God, engaging more deeply in Bible reading and prayer. Experiencing His presence and guidance has been transformative, especially after navigating a challenging period at the end of 2024. It was a dark night of the soul, a time filled with uncertainty, yet God’s love has provided clarity, shaped my character, and helped me grow immensely. I am forever grateful for His provision and protection, feeling more at peace now than ever before.
As we step into a new year, many people embrace the idea of New Year’s resolutions or crafting vision boards to manifest their dreams. While these practices are culturally appropriate and can be inspiring, it’s essential to recognize that there’s no magical transformation that occurs between December 31st and January 1st.
The truth is, we remain the same individuals, but within each of us lies the potential for change and growth. Our determination, along with clear goals and plans, truly drives us toward achieving our dreams. Our brains are wired to measure results, quantify our plans, and set specific goals, as this framework gives us direction. Using a defined timeframe for reflection allows us to take stock of our experiences, understand our lessons, and build on them for the future, making every day an opportunity for progress—not just the start of a new calendar year.
As we step into 2026 together, I invite you to join me in starting fresh. I have plans to share insights on motherhood, healthy living, spiritual growth, pregnancy, and childbirth. I truly believe that sharing our experiences can help us grow and learn from one another.
I’m also excited to announce a vision board workshop focused on the 5F Life (faith, fitness, family, finance, and fellowship) for intentional growth! This workshop will take place on Sunday, January 4th, 2026, at 1 PM CST. Participants will receive the 5F Life ebook, enjoy a 2-hour Zoom discussion, and gain access to a private group for quarterly calls.
In this workshop, we’ll explore how to set meaningful goals in each of the 5F areas, creating a roadmap for growth and fulfillment. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your faith, improve your health, nurture your family relationships, manage your finances better, or build a sense of community, this workshop is for you. Together, we can inspire and hold each other accountable on our journeys. I’m truly looking forward to the discussions and connections that will unfold.
As I prepare for this workshop, I’m excited to connect with others who share similar goals and aspirations. It’s amazing to see how our experiences can intertwine and uplift one another. I truly believe that we are called to grow intentionally in all aspects of our lives, and I want to encourage you on this journey. Each of us has a unique story to tell, and together, we can create a beautiful tapestry of shared experiences and wisdom.
Cheers to a bright new year ahead! May it be filled with blessings, growth, and love. I’m looking forward to sharing more of my journey with you and hearing about yours. What are your hopes and goals for 2026? Let’s embrace this new beginning together!
